In November, AgrAbility Illinois provided training to 40+ volunteer ambassadors at three locations across the state. Jim Williams, southern Illinois field coordinator, modeled how to present the program to community members who are unaware of the program. Chip Petrea discussed current client work and options for adaptive equipment. Robert Aherin presented an overview of the program and provided more information on the national program. Kelly Gagnon, marketing coordinator, presented outreach materials, including e-newsletters, Twitter and Facebook, brochures, PSAs, and presentation materials. All volunteer ambassadors left with more understanding of the impact AgrAbility has on clients' lives.
