Illinois' AgrAbility program spent December developing a communication strategy with its 80+ ambassadors throughout the state. AgrAbility Unlimited of Illinois is also developing new initiatives to improve communications. Approaches with social media (Facebook & Twitter) and digital communications (e-newsletters) are being developed. Through monthly communication via surveys, press release distribution, and volunteer and promotion opportunities, staff plan to ensure ambassadors remain engaged. Through continual grassroots promotion, Illinois' SRAP works to ensure that all farm families in Illinois are aware of the services AgrAbility provides.
