The first Battleground to Breaking Ground Ag Workshop of 2018 is scheduled for February 17 in Corpus Christi, Texas. A farm tour and networking event will be hosted the evening before the workshop at a local producer's farm to give attendees the opportunity to network and see different types of production agriculture. The workshop will be hosted at the Nueces County Center and will feature a presentation by a veteran speaker currently in production agriculture and sessions on Texas AgrAbility, the Battleground to Breaking Ground Entrepreneurial Training Project, rural business ideas, business planning basics, and a funding panel.
