Tennessee

Tennessee has had cold winter months and bad weather, but LOTS of opportunities to spread word about AgrAbility at meetings and conferences.

Tennessee AgrAbility was visible at several conferences, including:

• American Farm Bureau Federation Annual 2018 Convention in Nashville along with Farmer Veteran Coalition of TN.
• Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group (SSAWG) in Chattanooga along with neighboring state KY AgrAbility. Thanks to SARE funds, TN AgrAbility sponsored over 20 farmers to attend SSAWG even though the snow/ice storm deterred a few farmers.
• Tennessee Cattlemen's Association Annual Conference in Murfreesboro.
• East TN Grain Conference.
• Marion County Cattlemen's Annual Meeting.
• TNAP attended the Virtual National Training Workshop and appreciated all the presenters. TNAP staff are excited to share the VA Accelerator program with their farmers with disabilities.
