AgrAbility for Pennsylvanians participated in the annual Farming for the Future Conference hosted by the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA). This was an excellent opportunity to share AgrAbility information with farmers, educators, and community and state leaders, and to network with other exhibitors. AgrAbility staff talked to visitors about grip strength, hand health, common hand injuries, and assistive technology that can assist individuals with limited grip strength.
AgrAbility staff participated in the President's Day Commercial Tree Fruit School, located in one of the largest apple-producing regions in the county. Sessions at this event are offered in English and Spanish to accommodate the diverse group of attendees. AgrAbility also offered resources in Spanish and spoke to attendees about preventing overuse injuries. AgrAbility staff used this as an opportunity to connect with the local Extension office and Extension educators in the tree fruit industry.
