AgrAbility of Utah conducted outreach at the 7th annual Carbon County crop classes in Price on February 7. The crop school is sponsored each year by the Price River Conservation District and Utah State University Extension. AgrAbility resource facilitators were able to meet with a number of area farmers who attended to learn about the latest options for weed management and soil health.


AgrAbility of Utah staffed a booth at the Alfalfa U workshop February 8 in Ogden. The free workshop offered presentations on hay market trends in the West, as well as the latest information about growing, harvesting, and storing hay. AgrAbility provided a tabletop display and outreach materials.


Staff attended the 2018 Beef Cattle Field Day February 13 at the BYU Harman Conference Center in Provo. In its 37th year, the Beef Cattle Field Day, sponsored by The Utah Cattlemen's Association and Utah State University Extension, provides a chance for Utah's ranchers to connect with one another and discuss industry innovations. The AgrAbility exhibit included a tabletop display and outreach materials.


AgrAbility of Utah joined several other agricultural vendors and service providers to offer program outreach and education at a soil health workshop February 22. The NRCS teamed up with the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF) to host the workshop in Richfield. AgrAbility provided a display and one-on-one information for attendees.
