The first "show" of February for AgrAbility of Wisconsin was the Midwest Rural Energy Conference held in La Crosse, WI. This event brought in over 100 energy service providers from across the Midwest region. AgrAbility staff hosted a booth and were able to talk with the attendees about the services the program offers, providing a more widespread understanding of the program for those working in rural communities.
AgrAbility of Wisconsin attended the 38th annual Marshfield Farm Show held February 21 and 22. The Marshfield area is home to the largest number of AgrAbility clients, and staff enjoy this time to connect with past clients and meet potential new clients.
AgrAbility of Wisconsin staff also attended and exhibited at the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) held in La Crosse, WI, on February 22nd through 24th. Staff were able to talk with many small farmers and beginning farmers from various states, including Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and more, about the wonderful services state AgrAbility programs can provide to farmers with disabilities.
