Last month, Colorado AgrAbility Project (CAP) reported having received an AT assessment request from a Workers Compensation (WC) claims adjuster. The individual was an employee of a diverse agricultural business with numerous holdings. CAP went to the main property, and along with an OT team member from Craig Hospital, commenced an on-site assessment of the worker. The WC adjuster and the OT asked that CAP staff comment on a phased return to work plan that offers recommendations on work tasks that can be commenced utilizing AT prior to maximum medical improvement and then adding tasks as the worker's stamina increased. It was an interesting twist to the normal AT assessment.

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) chapter of Colorado invited CAP to attend their annual convention. Staff had the opportunity there to present the basics of AgrAbility. 101 DAV members on one day and also a session for 61 members on how to make a referral to CAP.
