June was a busy month for the Colorado AgrAbility Project (CAP). As has been the case for the past few years, they were invited to attend the state-level annual conferences of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans. There, staff introduced AgrAbility to over 1500 veterans.
Colorado AgrAbility staff were approached by APRIL to take a role in the 2018 conference to be held, commencing October 5th, in Denver, CO. CAP is partnering with the NAP to staff a table as well as to offer a presentation to the conference. Although CAP does not have a final commitment from Assistive Technology Partners, a function of UC Health, the latter expressed a desire to be an exhibitor and presenter at the APRIL conference. Should they commit to doing so, CAP will work with them to share the exhibit booth.
