Vermont AgrAbility continues to work without the USDA grant. The Vermont Center for Independent Living was the nonprofit partner in the Vermont AgrAbility grant that was lost two years ago, but VCIL has continued as an AgrAbility associate. VCIL is funded to work with anyone who has a disability, so the AgrAbility project meshes very well with VCIL goals.
Staff recently worked with the Vermont Farm Health and Safety Coalition week-long agricultural medicine training course for EMT and EMS districts' faculty and students from agricultural academic programs and staff from community and state agencies working in the farm community.
