Ellen Gibson of Goodwill Northern New England talked with the Maine Cheese Guild at their monthly meeting in Jonesboro on August 6th about the new self-assessment tool for cheese makers. Maine AgrAbility is finalizing this new resource called Cheese Maker Self-Assessment Tool for Occupational Health, Safety & Ergonomics, which will be shared on the ME AgrAbility website soon.
Project Director Richard Brzozowski spoke at the University of Maine Systems Aging Initiative Workshop on August 24th in Belfast, making a short presentation to 150 people about current research and programming related to aging and natural resources, with AgrAbility a key part of the presentation. He also staffed the AgrAbility educational display, which focused on aging farmers.
