This August, AgrAbility of Wisconsin staff attended and presented at the second MOSES Organic's In Her Boots session. This session brought together over 60 women interested in or already farming. Wisconsin's staff was able to talk with the women about the program and all it has to offer along with a few technologies that can aid in making the work less stressful on their bodies.
AgrAbility of Wisconsin hosted two Neighbor-to-Neighbor meetings at past client's farms in August. These meetings allow past, new, and possible clients to talk about what's going on in their lives and to share ideas that can make the work on the farm easier. Staff are able to give tips or shed some light on resources that are available to farmers to help them succeed. Farmers are also able to tour the farm and see the type of operation the host has and any modifications or assistive technology they are using to make the work easier on their body.
