Celebrating Agriculture is an annual event hosted by Surry County Cooperative Extension that seeks to promote local agriculture and salute farmers in the county. The event took place at the Fisher River Park in Dobson, NC, on September 8. NC AgrAbility was part of the many educational resources shared with farmers and educators during the event. Staff had the chance to network and provide educational materials to about 200 participants who visited the booth.

NC AgrAbility staff participated at the NC Farmworker Health Program board members' retreat on September 27. in Chapel Hill, NC. Collaborative work has been taking place between the two programs to help promote health and wellness among farmworkers in North Carolina.
