News of the New Mexico AgrAbility Program (NMAP) was presented to the NM Legislative Health and Human Services Committee meeting on October 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe State Capitol. NMAP partner, New Mexico Technology Assistance Program, was requested to provide information about all their services for the panel regarding "Training and Technical Assistance for People Living with Disabilities." Notice of the new grant was included in that presentation. Committee members, including several state representatives and senators, were excited to hear the news for their constituents. The NMAP team is beginning to gear up with excitement to benefit their rural agricultural community. The minutes from that meeting will soon be posted on the NM Legislative website.
