February 2019

Illinois

After taking the month of January to review 2018 and the overall growth of the program, the AgrAbility Unlimited IL staff members are celebrating almost double the growth in clients served as Ambassadors, community members, and the Illinois staff work to spread the word about the program's services from last year.

The team is hoping for even better results in 2019 with the implementation of a new communication plan and promotional ideas for the program. For instance, Kelly Gagnon, the communications coordinator, has worked to redesign the AgrAbility IL brochure with a fresh design featuring client success stories, making it available in both English and Spanish. These brochures will be distributed to ambassadors throughout the state and local organizations to help share the message of AgrAbility.

Staff members of AgrAbility Unlimited IL are also working to prepare for the National Training Workshop next month by inviting their past program clients to attend. The team hopes to share further education in adaptive equipment and the opportunity to network with industry professionals with them in order to further their success in returning to work.
