Nebraska

Eighty former LEAD (Leadership, Entrepreneurs, Advocates, Doers) members met at Raising Nebraska in Grand Island for a LEAD Alumni Conference and heard a member of the Nebraska AgrAbility staff speak about overcoming barriers. This program explained how AgrAbility serves clients and caregivers.


Specialists have been working on client reports and finding sources to assist Nebraska clients that are within the "order of selection" within VR. A staff member attended the veterans meeting in which discussion centered on the possible new updates that will be coming to the VA system. At this time, nothing is confirmed, but they are trying to make it more user-friendly.
