Candy finishing last moduleIn early February, Colorado AgrAbility finished its final presentation of the 2019 Winter Workshops. This season was the best yet with record attendance. Candy is seen here finishing the last module. With the Winter Workshops out of the way, staff are looking forward to attending the NTW and moving forward with their spring/summer schedule of activities.

The entire staff (all four of them) of the Colorado AgrAbility Project (CAP) will be in attendance at the 2019 NTW in Lincoln, NE. This year CO AgrAbility has excellent support from its clients and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. CAP will have four farmers in attendance as well as a DVR counselor. Further, CAP staff are also attending as presenters. One staff member and one client will co-present the session "How to Work with DVR in Complex Cases".

The field staff, both Candy and Jim, have been taking time to keep their skill sets current. Candy just completed a refresher course in Mental Health First Aid and a new course in farm safety. Jim completed a course sponsored by the University of Colorado on mindfulness.
