Jim Craig from the Colorado AgrAbility Project was invited by tribal leaders to speak at a ceremony honoring tribal veterans at the Southern Ute Reservation in Ignacio, CO. The subject was on why it is important to honor the tribes' warriors and discussion lead to the topic of how their warriors lend added value to the tribe when they return and are integrated into the community. Jim explained how his military service lead to AgrAbility and what an impact that program has on disabled veteran farmers. He described the services available and how one can self-refer or refer a friend to the program. About 200 members of the tribe were in attendance.
