Georgia AgrAbility co-sponsored two produce safety workshops for military veterans in Athens and Blairsville, Georgia. These were interactive and informative workshops that covered an overview of food safety with respect to GAP certification, animals, farm workers, markets, water quality, and soil. These workshops allowed veterans to get adequate information to implement on their farm as they continue to serve our nation and their communities by producing quality food. Dates: July 11th and July 16th

With over 400 attendees at the conference, it is the staff's hope that members take more information about AgrAbility back to their local chapters.
