On July 2, Emily Freudenburg with Nebraska AgrAbility worked with Ketra Crosson, OT/L of Maine AgrAbility and APRIL to deliver the AgrAbility webinar, "Advocacy: Working Together for Change." The webinar recording is now archived at www.agrability.org/online-training/archived/ along with the PowerPoint file. It was a wonderful webinar with a lot of interaction from the group!
The Agricultural Health and Safety Course for Medical and Safety Professions course was held in Omaha at the Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health facility. This course is designed to examine key health and safety issues specific to rural and agricultural workers. Nebraska AgrAbility was asked to present information about the program to a group of about 20 health professionals and students. Emily had a fun day in Omaha with this group and enjoyed their questions.
