Indiana AgrAbility Rural Rehabilitation Specialist Steve Swain attended the third annual Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana Brain Injury and Resource Facilitation Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. The conference is a partnership of the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and Indiana University Health. The conference is designed to provide the latest on brain injury research, resource facilitation, and resources available for brain injuries, and to recognize VR counselors, service providers, and businesses supporting individuals with brain injuries. Indiana AgrAbility staffed an exhibit providing information on AgrAbility resources and services. Indiana AgrAbility partner, INDATA - the Indiana Tech Act Project, was recognized for its contribution and services provided for those with brain injuries. Brian Norton, INDATA project manager, accepted the award for the project.

Indiana AgrAbility attended and exhibited at the Purdue Extension agriculture and natural resources educator fall retreat held at the Beck Center on the Purdue Agronomy Farm. The retreat and exhibit provided an opportunity for AgrAbility staff to make contacts with extension educators and educate about AgrAbility services.
