The Mandy's Farm AgrAbility farm apprentices sold fresh veggies and value-added farm products they created at the annual Harvest Festival, Saturday October 2, held at the main campus on Clark St. The apprentices put in hours of work to grow mini-pumpkins and pie pumpkins for the event, as well as creating sachets, lotions, packaged vermi-compost, and pricing all the items for sale. This event finished the farm market season for the group. Winter activities will be directed toward learning farm maintenance tasks, business budgeting, and growing mushrooms.
