Texas AgrAbility shared a booth at the Farmer Veteran Coalition conference with National AgrAbility, Life Essentials, and Action TrackChair. Individuals were able to see how AgrAbility collaborates with assistive technology companies to keep farmers and ranchers working.

TX AgrAbility helping bridge inspectorTexas staff conducted an onsite assessment for a bridge inspector. The individual is a double amputee and must be able to access off-road bridges and rights-of-way for his occupation with the department of transportation. Staff visited a typical jobsite and made assistive technology recommendations to give him access to his worksite.

Applications opened for the 7th cohort of the BattleGround to Breaking Ground project. The project is available as a tuition-based program or individuals can apply for a tuition waiver through support from an AgVets grant. The program includes 16 weeks of business planning education, hands-on ag production education with a mentor, and online ag production courses.
