KS AgrAbility presenting at Farm Financial Skills for KS Women in Ag conferenceKansas AgrAbility AT Ag Specialists Karin Rasmussen and Lesa Clubine presented AgrAbility during a recent Farm Financial Skills for Kansas Women in Agriculture hosted by K-State Research and Extension. Through the relationships the ag specialists have with their area Extension agents, they were able to make the connection and share information about limited vision, arthritis, and adjustments that can be made while working at a computer.

KS AgrAbility booth at Topeka Farm ShowKAP staff teamed up with the students from the Kansas State University Biological and Agricultural Engineering (BAE) Department at the Topeka Farm Show. KAP used their spinning wheel to encourage attendees to participate in a game of trivia, which provided the staff an opportunity to share KAP and other fun agriculture-related topics. The BAE students brought their award winning 1/4-scale tractor, which created a buzz in the booth and attracted a younger crowd. The partnership between KAP and the tractor team was a first, with more events planned in the future.
