Don Bender is 80 years old and has muscular dystrophy, a hobby horse farm, and a shop like no other! Don wears a weighted backpack to help maintain good posture. He built this stand-up walker for an AgrAbility client and makes/custom-fits them for people for a very reasonable price. An exciting event is happening in Michigan Sept. 8-18! Maggie Seymour will run from the Mackinaw Bridge to the Michigan/Ohio state line to raise funds for veterans entering farming. The funds will be used to benefit veterans through the Farmer Veteran Coalition of Michigan. More route details and events along the way will be shared as the details are verified. To help benefit the cause, those who wish to give can donate through Maggie's GoFundMe account for the event.
