Missouri
Missouri AgrAbility completed the following AgrAbility client and farm family tasks during the past month:
- Developed three video clips and created several posts for the online AgrAbility Virtual State Fair. Missouri will join other AgrAbility projects across the country to provide resources for farmers, ranchers, and farm families with disabilities.
- Nahshon Bishop with Innovative Small Farmers' Outreach Program at Lincoln University Cooperative Extension and MO AgrAbility co-PI assisted with developing an 1890 video clip for the online AgrAbility Virtual State Fair.
- Maureen Cunningham with the Brain Injury Association of Missouri and Missouri AgrAbility co-PI assisted with developing a nonprofit video clip for the online AgrAbility Virtual State Fair.
- Facilitated three level II onsite farmstead fee-for-service assessments.
- Invited to participate in anti-racism and new farmer training for nongovernmental, nonprofit, and cooperative extension.
- Participated in Annual USDA NIFA Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Development Program stakeholders input meeting.
- Developed an ergonomic-tool-talk video clip for beginning, disabled, women, and socially disadvantaged farmers.
- David Middleton with Innovative Small Farmers' Outreach Program at Lincoln University Cooperative Extension and MO AgrAbility developed an ergonomic tool demonstration video clip.
- Participated in monthly Rural Opioid Task Force and Generation Rx meeting.
