Washington State AgrAbility Program (WSAP) participated in two mask/hand sanitizer giveaways with Washington Farm Bureau on September 10 and 16. Events were held practicing social guidelines with drive-by service where 48 farming operations were given information on AgrAbility and suicide prevention.

Washington State AgrAbility Project has been proud to partner with the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network when providing outreach to farmers and ranchers in Washington state. Based out of the same office at WSU Skagit county extension, the Western Region FRSAN team is excited to announce their successful application for continued funding. This will allow suicide prevention efforts to expand into the 13 states and four territories in the western region of the US.

A cornerstone of the program activity builds on the groundwork of stress management resources developed by the National AgrAbility Project and SRAPs.
The Western Regional Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network has partnered with NAP and all SRAPs within the region. A big thanks to everyone for committing to health and safety for farmers both physically and mentally. For more information, click here.
