AgrAbility in Georgia and North Carolina recently collaborated on assisting a farmer. The farmer is currently a patient at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, which is Georgia AgrAbility's non-profit partner. Shepherd Center specializes in medical treatment, research, and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions. Utilizing Microsoft Teams, staff members were able to meet with the farmer and start work on his transition back home to North Carolina.

Three FarmAgain staff members attended the virtual "Veterans Farming Through Adversity", the sixth national Farmer Veteran Stakeholders Conference hosted by Farmer Veteran Coalition. The conference featured two days of education, workshops, distinguished speakers, guest panels, networking and more.
