For Nebraska AgrAbility, it's one more step to a safer work environment: both on-site specialists have received their first vaccinations and are getting back into the field on client visits! One young gentleman has overcome so many obstacles after his farming accident that he will do great things once he has some assistive technology. Staff will be working closely with Nebraska VR to ensure this gentleman has much success in the future.
This weekend kicked off the first veteran farmer session hosted by Center for Rural Affairs. Nebraska AgrAbility is connecting with veteran farmers about assistive technology for their operations. There are lots of great questions so far, and some interest in the AgrAbility program. Many great programs are a part of this, all geared toward helping veteran farmers in Nebraska.
