The First Annual Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) Golf Outing benefiting Michigan AgrAbility was a great success! The golf outing raised $9,000 for Michigan AgrAbility! AGR has been supporting Michigan AgrAbility for over 10 years through Beef Preview shows, hog roasts and Spring Rodeo. Thank you AGR for your support of the Michigan AgrAbility program - supporting the agriculture community!

The Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth announced at the beginning of the year that they chose Michigan AgrAbility as their charity for the entire year! The Michigan AgrAbility team is so excited to be working with Bavarian Inn. Their history and reputation in their community and far beyond draws people from beyond Michigan to enjoy the food and hospitality in Michigan's own sample of Bavaria. When visiting the restaurant, look for donation canisters marked for the Michigan AgrAbility program. Michigan AgrAbility will be present at all of their charity events throughout the year. The Bavarian Inn's first event, "Joe's Charity Bike Bash," is taking place on June 10. The events will give an opportunity to speak to those attending, promote the organization and AgrAbility's work, and raise funds to help more farmers. A radio interview with the Michigan AgrAbility staff is planned to take place during the first event.
