In April and May, NC AgrAbility joined AgrAbility Virginia on a marketing effort to spread the word about AgrAbility among farmers in the western region of North Carolina and Virginia. A radio promotional campaign in "On the Farm Radio" was broadcast all Mondays and Tuesdays during April and May. The audio recording can be accessed here.
May 28, DisAbility Partners hosted the NC AgrAbility Plant Day at the DisAbility Partners location. Eight individuals attended and received information on NC AgrAbility, arthritis and gardening, back injuries and gardening, and ergonomic tools. All attendees received a tomato and/or cucumber plant.
