Ohio AgrAbility staff spent much of the summer on outreach to farmers and gardeners, presenting "Ergonomic Gardening", and "Ohio AgrAbility - Assistive Technology to Keep You Productive" workshops. OAP staff were very excited to present a live workshop to a live, in-person audience (for the first time in more than a year-and-a-half) in August.
Ohio AgrAbility is proud to announce that the Caregiver Support Network is hosting a free webinar October 8, 2 pm EDT: "Let's talk about Caregivers and Mental Health". OSU Extension Behavioral Health Field Specialist Bridget Britton will present about improving mental health in rural and other limited-access areas, how to concentrate on self-care when it is difficult to get away from the home or farm, how to recognize mental health needs when services are limited and looking into local resources when there is a lack of them in rural communities. Registration for the free webinar is available here.
