Staff virtually attended and provided handouts for attendees at the Disability and Aging Summit hosted by Special Olympics of Alaska. The goal of the Aging and Disability Summit is to further discuss the national and state trends regarding the aging population, to include individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and how they relate to Alaska.
DeShana York continued to assist on the planning committee for the 1st Annual Farm Bureau Convention & Tradeshow that took place in Anchorage, Alaska, November 12-14. AgrAbility had presentations and participated in the tradeshow. More information on that to come. This was a very excited opportunity to highlight the project and the national relationship with the Farmer Veteran Coalition since the event directly followed Veterans Day!
