AgrAbility Virginia is currently working with 28 farmer clients at various levels of engagement and need, including a small-scale urban farmer in Richmond who has had 13 knee surgeries and has trouble bending down. This farmer was able to purchase long-handled interchangeable tools through the Easterseals UCP Bellows Fund.

DARS rehab engineer Tom Rybak and DARS advisory group member John Allen presented a tractor step extension being developing for an AgrAbility Virginia client. Engineering doctoral student Negin Nikafrooz and AgrAbility Virginia Program Co-Director Dr. Alex Leonessa presented back and hand support AT designs being developed and tested at Virginia Tech.
