Texas AgrAbility hosted a webinar with the Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living titled "Promoting Independent Living in Rural Communities." Topics covered included services provided by centers for independent living (CILs), how to access CIL services, and where to find the CIL that serves you. Watch the recorded webinar here.

The BattleGround to Breaking Ground program received a grant to expand the current training program to offer a career skills program for active-duty military. The program will allow active-duty military members to attend a training program during their last 180 days of service. The program will offer agriculture business planning and hands-on agriculture education to train transitioning military members to be agricultural entrepreneurs.
