Ohio AgrAbility (OAP) staff presented at the Ohio Land Improvement Contractors Association (OLICA) annual conference in early January. This was the first opportunity to present to this group in several years, and they were an attentive audience. In addition to an overview of Ohio AgrAbility, OLICA attendees were also introduced to OAP's "Fitness for Farm Life" resources and encouraged to try ten different stretches during the presentation. The stretches were interspersed throughout the presentation: after a discussion of tractor seats and anti-vibration gloves, the presenter led the group in two shoulder stretches. Examples of cameras and monitors were paired with neck stretches. Extended steps, handrails, and lifts (platform and pilot) led to a finale of leg and hip stretches. The attendees were happy to do the stretches, as it was the end of a long day of sitting and listening to presentations, and the stretches allowed OAP staff to keep the attendees engaged and show them how easy it is to fit stretches into their workday. OAP staff are grateful to former NAP and Indiana AgrAbility OT doctoral intern Luke Cain for introducing OLICA to OAP after he presented on AgrAbility at the national Land Improvement Contractor's conference.
