In January, AgrAbility of Utah staff attended and presented at three Crop School classes taught throughout the state. Crop School classes are sponsored and taught by Utah State University Extension, and topics include weed, pest, water, fertilizer, and other agronomic management techniques. The workshops were held in Delta, Beaver, and Nephi, Utah, respectively.
On January 18 and 26, AgrAbility of Utah staff met with staff members of the COVER to COVER program to discuss ways to better serve the veteran community in Utah. COVER to COVER stands for "Connecting Older Veterans Especially Rural to Community or Veteran Eligible Resources" and was established to help veterans learn more about VA benefits and to better connect to their services.
