The conference was attended by at least 53 people. It was organized and led by John Jamerson, African American farmer from Lyles Station, IN, and director of the LIFE Project 2501 grant in which the National AgrAbility Project is a partner.

There were several speakers of note at the one-day conference including Jerry Raynor, Indiana state conservationist. Other organizations in addition to AgrAbility presenting at the event included Purdue Extension, FSA, NRCS, Indiana State Department of Agriculture, Hoosier Young Farmers Coalition, Farm Credit, Region Roots, and Faith Farms and Orchard.
