AgrAbility for Africa

AgrAbility for Africa's outreach experiences to promote and expand services via community workshops has proven very effect in developing a better understand of the needs while recruiting clients. The causal nature of engagement quickly builds trust during the Q & A sessions, and because of the positive feedback and results, the team has stepped up similar kinds of events in order to expand outreach and interventions, thus creating more opportunities for farming communities to learn about AgrAbility for Africa, its services, and solution options.

The chronic shortage of rehabilitation experts and service support across Africa hinders AgrAbility for Africa intervention efforts. In sustained efforts to change the status quo, the AgrAbility for Africa team will be conducting a disability financing policy analysis to establish linkages between available finance and demand for the purpose of guiding support and to aid in identifying funding sources that could help build and run appropriate advocacy campaigns to improve the economic, employment, health, and education outcomes for people with disabilities across the continent.
