Staff presented an overview of outreach and engagement activities for 2020-2022, introduced new staff members, and gave a preview of the Ohio AgrAbility exhibit at Farm Science Review in September.

Austin Heil, President and Founder of Cursive Ohio Charity Bike Ride talked about the Ride, which was held September 3, 2022. The proceeds of the Ride are donated to Ohio AgrAbility, and are used to fund farmer education and travel, and to provide lunch at the summer meeting. Austin also donated the proceeds for the 2021 Ride to Ohio AgrAbility, and OAP is grateful for his enthusiasm and support. Ohio AgrAbility staff presented at the Ohio Rural Health Conference August 1 - 2. Project Director Dee Jepsen co-presented "Sun Exposure Risk Factors and Sun Protective Behaviors Practiced by a Sample of Rural Ohio Farmers". Disability Services Coordinator Laura Akgerman presented "Asking the Right Questions and Finding the Right Resources for Rural Caregivers", and two posters: "Do You Work with Farmers with Disabilities? We Do"; and "Gardening with Arthritis - It doesn't have to hurt!" Laura is also a founding board member of the Ohio Rural Health
