California AgrAbility affiliate staff presented "All About California AgrAbility" for the Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) of the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA). The luncheon event was hosted by CDFA via zoom for 13 of the department's staff members to help them learn more about how California AgrAbility supports farmers, ranchers, and farmworkers throughout the state so they can continue to work safely and successfully. Staff gave a brief overview of the history of California AgrAbility and CDFA's joint efforts to help those with disabilities and to improve mental health conditions for those working in agriculture.
