TN AgrAbility in collaboration with the TN Department of Human Services celebrated National Disability Employment Awareness Month by co-hosting the Resource Ability Assistive Technology Access Fair in Lebanon, TN. This annual event showcased the importance of assistive technology in the lives of people with different abilities. The Fair helped promote partnerships between TN AgrAbility, TN Technology Access Program, Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Farmer Veteran Coalition of TN who all help farmers to continue to make a living doing what they love. Special thanks to keynote speaker Carey Portell, a champion and friend of AgrAbility who shared her experiences of breaking through limitations after significant injuries and life in the agricultural arena, and to Marty Cotterman with LifeLyfts for demonstrating various ag lifts and mobility options.
