California AgrAbility staff, supported by the Western Regional Agricultural Stress Assistance Program (WRASAP), attended the Washington State Tree Fruit Association Annual Meeting. Staff presented on farmworker occupational stressors, injury and illness, and farm stress resources. Staff networked with other agency representatives working to support farmworker training and health and safety, including pesticide safety. WRASAP presented both a Spanish and English version of the workshop.
As an active member of the Puentes Network, California AgrAbility participated in the monthly meeting with other Yolo County organizations and agencies. The group discussed leadership roles within the network and the planning of the next in-person conference for fall of 2023. The next meeting will be held in-person at the end of January.
