A selfie with Nebraska AgrAbility team seated around tables in the backgroundIn January, the Nebraska AgrAbility team met in Kearney, Nebraska, to share resources and plan FY2023. At the meeting, Aaron Yoder set up a Teams channel to facilitate communications and resource sharing. University of Nebraska-Kearney graduate student Jada Ruff attended the meeting to learn more about AgrAbility. After she graduates in May, Jada will join Nebraska Extension as a food, nutrition, and health educator. Jada is very interested in Nebraska AgrAbility and hopes to be involved in the program.


Emily Jacobson reports that Nebraska AgrAbility is in the process of signing a contract to work with an OTD student from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, beginning January 2024. The student's doctoral capstone project focuses on helping individuals in agricultural professions transition back to agriculture-related work following an injury. This is an exciting collaborative opportunity for the student and for Nebraska AgrAbility.
