UNM will provide three service-learning occupational therapy students to Mandy's Farm and to NM Technology Assistance Program in order to improve training of rehabilitation professionals while drawing positive attention to student projects and the NMAP. Patricia Siegel is the UNM professor working with OT students creating short-form educational materials related to ergonomics, injury prevention, and maintaining functional ability. The NMAP team will review the materials and focus on posting them on the NMAP website soon.
