Florida AgrAbility attended the 6th Annual Emergency Preparedness Expo on March 7th, 2023. AgrAbility had a booth to share outreach materials among the participants. The event was attended by more than 200 participants, 27 vendors (community-based organizations), and multiple emergency management and first responder agencies. The people in attendance were highly engaged, learned a lot, and accessed important resources to better prepare themselves for disasters.
Florida AgrAbility also organized a webinar to introduce the Florida AgrAbility Project to the University of Florida Extension faculty. Project staff continue engaging with clientele and conducting worksite assessments. An introductory video was prepared to raise money, and the video will be used during The Amazing Give Day on April 20th.
