Ohio AgrAbility staff and farmers enjoyed attending the NTW in Spokane, WA. Everyone welcomed the opportunities to meet new people, learn from their colleagues and other presenters, network, and share ideas to grow their Project. OAP Rural Rehabilitation Coordinator Rachel Jarman shared the ways she uses social media to find assistive technology and vendors to support the mission of keeping Ohio farmers working safely and productively. Rachel co-presented with Ginger Scaife, rehabilitation program specialist (and Ohio AgrAbility liaison) with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, and Project Director Dee Jepsen on how Ohio AgrAbility partners with Voc Rehab in Ohio, and offered suggestions on advocation for an AgrAbility liaison in other states.
