Training opportunities: NC AgrAbility provided training in "Preventing Injuries and the Use of Ergonomic Tools" to Benevolence Farm on April 12 and to the NC Apprenticeship Program on April 24.

The event is a gathering of agencies, organizations, and activists dedicated to advancing the lives of farmworkers and their families. NC AgrAbility presented the "Assistive Technology for Harm Reduction for Farmworkers" session and manned an exhibitor booth. The event counted with the participation of 150 attendees.


At the Annual Union County Transition Fair on April 20, NC AgrAbility participated as an exhibitor for the morning COMMUNITY RESOURCES SESSION and the EC PARENT AWARENESS NIGHT SESSION "Embracing Transition: Preparing for Your Child's Future." The event showcases the organizations, schools/colleges, businesses, trade schools, and community agencies that provide services for students to assist them with transitioning to adulthood in the areas of education, employment and independent living. The event was attended by 150 students, parents, educators, administrators, and community service providers.
