National AgrAbility Project

AgrAbility Regional Workshops - The Veterans in Agriculture Regional Workshop was held at the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Airport June 6-8, 2023. This Regional focused on veterans in farming and programs to support them. There were 51 attendees, including 22 veterans. They attended nine presentations covering business planning, food safety, marketing, land access and estate planning, farming with a disability, and resources, programs, and benefits for veterans. They toured Celtic Farm Heritage Livestock, Rosehill Farm Stop, and American Mushroom and Spice. Great information and conversations were shared.
