The Florida AgrAbility case coordinator attended the 2023 National Amputee Coalition conference in collaboration with the National Project from August 2nd-4th. The case coordinator operated a booth with National Project Manager Paul Jones. Between 25-50 attendees from across the nation stopped by the AgrAbility booth to learn about the program, and if the services are available in their home-state. Many attendees showed immense interest in the AgrAbility program and the adaptive tools brought for display.

On August 17th, members of the Florida AgrAbility Project visited the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Tropical Aquaculture Lab in Ruskin, Florida. This visit included a facility tour, information about the tropical aquaculture industry in Florida, and a trip to a nearby farmer to view a fish processing/packaging house. The staff members gained valuable industry information that will aid in diversifying their knowledge set for clients who may be involved in aquaculture.

On August 22, Florida AgrAbility hosted Chad Reznicek and Clinton Wilson as speakers for a webinar on "Promoting Resilience through SAMHSA's Eight Domains of Wellness." Chad and Clinton discussed eight dimensions of wellness as a holistic, strengths-based, and practical approach to increasing resilience and well-being. The webinar had a great turnout and welcomed more than 60 participants. Participants were very engaged and provided positive feedback.
